Economic development has brought great pressure on the environment, while air pollution is particularly serious. It is not only harmful to human health, but also brought huge losses to the economy. Therefore, this thesis explores the temporal and spatial variations of atmospheric pollutants in China, and to discuss the correlationship between atmospheric pollutants and meteorological factors, to determine the influence of meteorological factors on air pollutants, to provide the reference for China’s atmospheric pollutants prevention and control. Some meaningful results were obtained, and listed as follows:(1)The atmosphere pollutants in China are different in time and space. SO2and PM10concentration is higher in northern cities than that of southern cities, especially in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and northwest in Shandong. Concentration of NO2is higher in the economically developed regions. The temporal and spatial distribution of SO2, NO2and PM10vary with seasons. The concentration of SO2and PM10generally rises in winter, especially in northern cities. Meanwhile, that of NO2experiences a decline in summer. Furthermore, that of PM10is obvious higher in winter and spring than in summer and autumn.(2) Five different climatic zones to represent the city’s meteorological factors and atmospheric pollutants have significant seasonal variation in the characteristics and features of the change, PM10and SO2concentrations in the winter high season, while NO2concentrations did not change significantly throughout the year. Meteorological factors have an impact on the distribution of atmospheric pollutants, in general, pollutants were positively correlated with the mean atmospheric pressure, and the temperature was negatively correlated with the average wind speed was positively correlated with poor correlation relative humidity in some areas for individual pollutants have different results.
