With the rapid development of science and technology, many kinds of high-techindusty like electronic industy has higher and higher requirement for the protective ofantistatic dust-free clothing in clean room. However, the thermal comfort of this kind ofclothing is very bad because of the impermeability of the fabric, thus had a negative effecton the work efficiency of the worker. So, it is nesscessery to do reserach about the thermalcomfort of antistatic dust-free clothing. The experiment antistatic dust-free clothing in this research were made by onecompany, the research was carried out under three conditions: effect of single layer andtwo layer of antistatic dust-free clothing on human thermal comfort; effect of22°C、55%and25°C、55%environment temperature/humidity on human thermal comfort whenwearing antistatic dust-free clothing; effect of different undergarments on human thermalcomfort when wearing antistatic dust-free clothing.Six healthy male undergraduates volunteered to participate in the experiment, theexperiment procedure was to simulate workload of worker in cleanroom, the experimentwere conducted in a climate chamber for90min in total, the ambient temperature/humiditywere22°C、55%. During the experiment, skin temperature, relative humidity and heartrate were measured. Thermal resistence and evaporative resistence of garments weremeasured by thermal maninkin “Newton”. Thermal comfort test of thermal minikin wasused to simulate real situation of subjects and heat flux and sweating rate were recorded.Through analyzing the data, the following results were obtained:Compared with one layer antistatic dust-free clothing, the highest relative humidity atchest was17.7%more than the highest relative humidity at chest when wearing doublelayer antistatic dust-free clothing, the mean skin temperature differernce rasied from0.4°Cto0.6°C. So, to some extent, wearing two layer antistatic dust-free clothing can affect thermal comfort of human. When the temperature of environment was increased by3°C, the relative humidity atchest rised significantly and the difference between the highest mean skin temperature andthe lowest mean skin temperature was rised from0.5°C up to0.9°C, so caused thermaldiscomfort. When wearing shirt made of100%cotton underwear inside antistatic dust-free clothing, the relative humidity at chest was the lowest and the variation of mean skin temperaturewas also the lowest, just0.4°C, the thermal comfort was the best; The second comfortunderwear was T-shirt with yoke made of100%polyester, the thermal comfort of T-shirtmade of100%cotton was the worst.
