The Study On The Relationship Of Water Environmental Pollution And Economic Society Development In Jilin Province

Water environment is an important subsystem of the ecological environmentsystem; Water resource plays an indispensable important strategic role in humansurvival, life and social development. Jilin province is a typical old industrial base,with the enlargement of economic scale and the population size, the consumptionstructure adjustment, increasing water demand, water environment pressure,especially after a major Songhua river water pollution incident in2005, caused theattaches great importance to the protection of water environment.This article uses the Environmental Kuznets Curve to analyze the relationshipbetween Jilin province economic society development and water environmentalpollution, inspecting the existence of EKC in Jilin province. The results showed that,Jilin province industrial wastewater emissions and per capita GDP show N type curverelationship, urban sewage emissions and per capita GDP presents the typicalEnvironmental Kuznets Curve inverted u-shaped curve relationship, the inflectionpoint is about when the per capita GDP of38400RMB.In addition, in this paper, after the test of the Jilin province water environmentalpollution and economic development relationship, I also analyzed the main influencefactors of water environment pollution. To explore its influence on water environment,water environment pollution as the dependent variable, population, industrial structure,technological level and so on as independent variable, make the multivariateregression analysis. The study found that, their combination has significant effect towater environment pollution, regression model is significant. Finally, I set up threedevelopment modes, baseline situation, ideal situation, and recommended situation.Analysis obtained that Jilin province industrial wastewater emissions continue toincrease in baseline situation, in the ideal situation and recommended situationappears decreasing trend. Prediction of the Jilin province industrial wastewater emissions in recommended situation, the Environment Kuznets Curve inflection pointis about per capita GDP of40000RMB.Finally, for the coordinated development between the water environmentalprotection and economic and social in Jilin province, I put forward the followingsuggestion: adjust the industrial structure, speed up the urbanization process, increaseenvironmental protection investment, perfect laws and regulations, strengthen theconsciousness of environmental protection and so on.
