The technology of ground grouting curtain mining area, through40years ofdevelopment, has entered the practical stage. However in the design and parametersoptimization of the curtain still by reference specification o water conservancy andhydropower or experience of previous projects, research of curtain is relatively few,especially the thickness and permeability of curtain.This paper takes MODFLOW as the tool, combine with specific mine, establish thethree-dimensional model of groundwater, and with the model as a platform, to design andparameters optimization of the curtain in the mining area. The details are following:(1) In mining area groundwater three-dimensional platform, established the curtainline in different depth of design scheme, and simulated effect of water plugging in thedifferent schemes of mining area, at the same time, analyze the results, and determine thedesign plan. On the other hand, the choosing of the curtain line combined with specifichydrogeological condition, and considered the curtain as part of the hydrogeological ofmine to simulation and calculation to ensure rationality.(2) Under the conditions of determined curtain line, through three-dimensional modelof groundwater platform, which can obtain the curve of permeability-plugging rates fromcomputational and simulation under different of permeability. It’s makes the design onpermeability of Grouting Curtain up to the theoretical calculation. At the same time, it canguide economic analysis between plugging rate and the investment of curtain. Therefore,the research is valuable for the design on permeability of Grouting Curtain in future.(3)The calculation of curtain thickness is based on characteristics of karstgroundwater flow and fluid-solid coupling deformation, combined with calculation theoryof nearly orebody curtain thickness and water inrush theory of strata, and according to thepractical experience and theoretical calculation divided into drilling deviation part andgrouting effective part, for invalid lap part, calculated by using actual engineering experience, calculation of the effective overlap by rock mechanics and fluid mechanics.(4)The curtain simulation and parameter optimization research based onhydrogeological condition of FanKou Lead-Zinc mine, which obtained reasonable value ofthe key parameters. To guide the implementation of the fankou lead-zinc mine groundcurtain. Water plugging effect after the completion of the curtain that research conclusionhas certain popularization significance.
