The polyimide is one of the best organic polymer materials, it has the wide application inmany fields. Some novel monomers have been developed for the synthesis of new polyimidematerials. Porphyrins have a special molecular structure, and also have a lot of uniquephysical, chemical, and optoelectronic properties. Therefore, the synthesis and application ofnew porphyrin and its metalloporphyrin is one of the important researching fields.We try to synthesis the new polyimides containing porphyrin by the polymerisation of thesubstitutional porphyrin derivatives and dianhydride monomer in this thesis, and thensynthesis the new copolyimides by the upper polyimide and p-phenylenediamine.The main work of this thesis are presented as follows: Firstly, tertraphenylporphyrin (TPP)was synthesized by traditional method; its products of selective nitration can be obtained bytrifluoroacetic acid (TFA) and sodium nitrate;Secondly, the meso-5,15-bis(4-aminophenyl)-10,20-diphenylporphyrin and5,10-bis(4-aminophenyl)-15,20-diphenylpor-phyrin were synthesized and separated by reducing agent; Finally,a series of new polyimidecompounds containing porphyrin were synthesized and the reaction conditions ofpolymerization were studied. Then its meatl porphyrin compounds were synthesized. Thestructure of the polymer was confirmed by FT-IR and UV-Vis etal.; Discussed the temperatureeffects on imidization, carried on calculation to degree of imidization in differenttemperatures by IR method, and then drawed the i-T curve.
