| Variety changes boom from popular elements, considering the products development for a brand, it is a problem to design by using popular elements and meanwhile keeping the same brand style. There are much more probe trial during local brand development, which caused unstable chance of success, it makes great challenge to keep brand style. One side, if a clothing brand need to keep there own relatively uniform style during the product design, a steady brand element (brand DNA) must be possessed continually, on the other hand, in order to cater for popular trend of design element, brand clothing need to adopt fashionable popular design element, this is the key for current clothing brand to be acclimatized and reacted. However, taking a comprehensive view of these two aspects, making popular design elements into well adoption and maintaining brand style at same time, it is a worthy research study. In the view of this problem, firstly, this article start system research on the character, classification, access way and application method of popular design element, then attempt to make a subdivision research design on same popular design element which adopted in different female clothing brand style by taking example as chessboard element, flouncing element and harness element, use the method of case analysis, summing-up and practice validating to suppose to get popular pattern element and popular arts element, to get the design method of the partial detailed popular design element and themes’ style popular design element for different style brand.Theoretically, above research study and analyze the design method of using same popular design element in different female clothing brand style and meanwhile keep each brand in their own style stability, point out design method after attempt exercise to keep style stable for popular design element in different female clothing brand style. Probing into this field is a kind of start-discussion trial, considering the practice of future popular design element in domestic female clothing brand, it will play an active role in design thinking and design practice. |
