Study On The Cleaner Production Technique Integration And Assessment Index System In Slaughter Industry

Meat products are closely related to people’s life, which can provide protein, minerals, fat and other nutrients for our daily needs. In recent years, the slaughter industry has been developing rapidly, however, it has also brought a lot of environmental problems. The wastewater, waste gas, scraps and other pollutants generated in production process are harmful to the daily lives of surrounding residents, which endangers people’s health to some extent.It has been explored in European countries for many years that Cleaner Production(CP) is a sustainable development path, which can promote harmonious and healthy economic growth and environment development. As a new concept, CP has attracted constant attention and it is a new idea for realizing the sustainable development. Substantially different from the end-of-pipe treatment, CP is an active pollution prevention thought applying the whole process management into the whole life cycle of a product to prevent and control the generation of pollutants from the source of the product. CP index system can contribute to conduct a comprehensive and systematic analysis for enterprises to study the CP status and find the existing problems, in order to propose the corresponding CP measures and make the right policies, which can improve the production status and also the environmental situation, promoting the green and sustainable development for enterprises.A CP index system for slaughter industry is constructed in this article based on the CP studies in domestic and foreign countries and considering the environmental problems and the characteristics of the production process of slaughter industry. Then we check the reasonability of the index system with a case enterprise. The main contents include:(1)Constructing a CP index system for slaughter industry by applying the analytic hierarchy process methodology, according to the characteristics of the production process of slaughter industry and identifying the current problems of environmental protection of enterprises. It is divided into a target layer, a principle layer and an indicator layer.(2)Determining the reference value of each indicator in the index system of slaughter industry through comparing the indicators with the domestic enterprises. Then the weight of each indicator is obtained with the Yaahp software.(3)Testing the reasonability of the built CP index system through a case study of a domestic slaughter enterprise. The assessment results prove that the system is rational with high applicability and practicality. (4)Researching the CP technologies in each production process of slaughter industry through large amounts of literature review and practical investigation and forming a set of CP technique integration for slaughter industry from five perspectives containing raw material consumption, process technology, equipment, process control and environmental management.
