It is universally acknowledged that the tobacco industry is one of the largest domesticindustries. We can’t deny the fact that China’s tobacco production and consumption has rankedthe first in the world. However, nowadays China’s reform and development is deepening step bystep, and the free trade rules are widely carried out since China’s accession to the WTO. On theother hand, Chinese government has continuously enhanced the antitrust strength, which togethercontribute to the fact that traditional tobacco monopoly system has to suffer from great pressurefrom various aspects. What’s more, the whole Chinese tobacco industry will be surely faced withboth great opportunities and challenges. To make matters worse, because of the differences ofsystems, a significant gap has come into being between China tobacco enterprises’ marketcapacity and foreign tobacco enterprises with the information technology acting as corecompetitiveness. Therefore, it is high time for us to improve the level of informationmanagement in our country to deal with the extrusion and impact of foreign cigarettes. Only inthis way can we turn a big tobacco country into a powerful tobacco country.Based on the quality management system of a tobacco company,the author of this essayputs forward a reasonable and advanced quality management system after extensivelyinvestigating into the cigarette factory and combining foreign advanced quality managementtheory and data acquisition system with domestic successful examples. To begin with, the systemfollows the management rules of software engineering and picks out matters of interest in thequality management to set up models. Besides, the system is divided into presentation layer,business logic layer, persistence layer and the domain object layer in the JavaEE platform.More importantly, the system integrates the Struts2, Spring and Hibernate, reduces thecoupling of the system, and shortens the development cycle, thus greatly improving theefficiency. In terms of database, the design of database system is in strict accordance with thebasic design steps to guarantee the safety and integrity of the data. In addition, the system usescase diagram and class diagram to design the quality management system in detail, putsmanaging permission into effect based on the model of RABC, and takes advantage of IBMMQSeries and Web Service for system integration. In the end, the author makes the functions ofthe system come true, sums up the full text, and comes up with the further research direction.The system has been successfully applied in the tobacco company, and greatly improved itsquality management.As far as I know, it has helped to realize the paperless office on the wholeand greatly enhance the work efficiency of users. Much to my delight, it was spoken highly of bythe users.
