| By consulting a large number of Chinese and foreign literature, This paperexplored and studied the characteristics of urban runoff pollution and rainwaterecological utilization. Typical northern city of Handan, for example, made somepreliminary attempts in stormwater runoff pollution characteristics, stormwater runoffwater quality control, urban water ecological environment improvement, the mainfindings are as follows:(1) The results of typical Underlying surface runoff pollution monitor in HandanCity showed that serious pollution of surface runoff, the first flush of runoff pollutantslaw, the runoff early pollutants concentration is highest, and then stabilized at a lowerconcentration values. The findings of different underlying surface runoff water qualitysurvey showed that the nature of the underlying surface directly affect runoff waterquality, road runoff> the roof runoff> Greenbelt runoff. Base on the analysis ofrainwater quality, it was studied that the relationship between pollutants of rainwaterrunoff using the method of linear regression, and provided the process of rainwatertreatment for roof, roadway and lawn.(2) On the base of building pollutant wash-off model,typical underlying surfacerunoff are sampled and analyzed among2011, it tests that the concentration of differentpollutants is influenced by the factors such as the variation of the rainfall, K value. Themain factors affecting the comprehensive erosion coefficient K are the characteristic ofthe underlying surface,rainfall intensity and rainfall interval. By makeing use of thesefeatures, it is easy to understand the changes law of runoff quality, besides to providethe basis for the control and improvement of the water quality.(3) A majority of the total pollutants total quantity is carried by Initial runoff fromtypical underlying surface. In order to remove70~80percents of SS total load, theinitial interception amount of runoff from road, roof and lawn is4,6, and3mmrespectively.(4) The average EMC of The Handan City typical underlying surface runoffcontaminants is as follows: the mean EMC of CODCr, SS, TP, TN, NH3-N from roadrunoff is264.29mg/L357.72mg/L,0.93mg/L,10.42mg/L,7.33mg/L,respectively; themean EMC of CODCr, SS, TP, TN, NH3-N from roof runoff is277.50mg/L,329.10mg /L and0.85mg/L,9.90mg/L and6.97mg/L, respectively; the mean EMC of CODCr,SS, TP, TN, NH3-N from lawn runoff is92.50mg/L,125.02mg/L,0.51mg/L,4.69mg/L,3.30mg/L, respectively;(5) Rainfall intensity is the main factors to affect runoff water quality. The averageconcentration of each pollutant from typical underlying surface runoff from HandanCity is calculated using the weighted average method based on different rainfallintensity. According to the the Handan city characteristics and average annual rainfall,total annual load of each pollutant is estimated. The total annual load of CODCr, SS,TP, TN, NH3-N were10952.38,19531.31,48.27,520.65,369.15t respectively.(6) The measures were introduced for the control of campus rainwater pollution,and ecological utilization precept of campus rainwater was analyzed.The survey results of stormwater runoff pollution characteristics in Handan Cityshow that, according to the characteristics the of rainwater ecological use of technology,the scope of application of the actual situation in Handan city development, the differentfunctional areas, it is feasible on technology and economy, which will bringconsiderable benefits to economy, society and environment, alleviating the shortage ofwater resources and improving urban environment in Handan. |
