Cylindrical pressure vessel is a kind of very useful products, and its surface isreinforced with a fiber composite material to balance the equivalent stress,so theysuffer pressure evenly. It is widely used in aerospace, energy, chemical industry,metallurgy and other fields, and plays an important role in the domestic economy.Cylindrical container whose production and processing are completed by filamentwinding machine is a kind of coil products. Therefore, it is necessary to produce akind of special filament winding machine to make its pressure vessel wall havehigher intensity and suffer pressure evenly in all directions to ensure the safety ofstorage and transportation. However, it cannot meet the winding range of thecylindrical container for most of domestic winding machine is2,3-axis, so this topicwill develop a4-dof gantry cylindrical container filament winding machine based onfilament winding technology.In this paper, combined with the current situation of4-dof winding machine, theoverall design scheme of winding machine is targeted put forward based on a lot ofliterature about cylindrical container winding machine both at home and abroad;meanwhile, having a simulation and analysis on cylindrical vessel filament windingmachine to validate the rationality of the design. During the design process, we getthe winding angle, mandrel angle and speed ratio of winding machine windingthrough analyzing the winding laws of cylindrical container and calculating with thegeodesic equation. The design is introduced CAD/CAE technology and making useof Pro/E software to establish the three-dimensional model of cylindrical vesselswinding machine. Based on the finite element theory, it has a statics analysis andmodal analysis to the car hanger and winding machine flip agencies using theANSYS software. Winding machine solid models are imported into the ADAMSsoftware to simulate, and then kinematics analysis and vibration analysis is carriedout on the winding machine car to verify the rationality of structure design.The4-dof gantry cylindrical container filament winding machine designed in this paper is a numerical control machine tool special winding cylindrical container.After modeling, simulation and analysis of the winding machine, the rationality andreliability of the winding machine structure design are fully verified. In the subject,the cylindrical container winded by winding machine is a kind of oxygen bottlestoring oxygen, and its product geometric parameters is radius R=200mm, long L=2000mm. The winding machine also can be used for other cylindrical coil windingproducts so that it has a broad application prospect in other areas.
