Decision-making of ecological restoration is a complex system optimization problem withmulti-objectives, multi-levels, and multi-constraints. This study aims to offer an effectiveapproach for processing mass data with multi-scales, multi-sources, and multi-types, oriented tothe Yongding River ecological restoration research and the needs of decision-making system andbased on the pressure-state-response mode. That was in order to build a reasonable andeffective research database index system and provide optimal schemes in design and assessmentof the river ecosystem restoration. Particularly, the pattern of the spatial data engine ArcSDEwas integrated with the relational database Oracle and GIS linear reference system as well as thedynamic segmentation. Specifically, the Yongding River ecological restoration spatial databasehas been established. The construction of the Yongding River ecological restoration spatial database,on thewhole, is reasonable and effective, and realize the function of inquiring and displayinginformation dynamically from the database. It has solved the problem of spatial and attributedata stored separately and used with low efficiency, and can provide necessary data managementand application support for the Yongding River ecological restoration. It has been demonstratedthat the proposed approach is effective and practical for data supporting in assessment anddecision-making for the ecosystem restoration of artificially recharged rivers. The method ofOracle integrated with ArcSDE way, using linear referencing and dynamic segmentationtechnology, can make full use of data and share data more efficiently. It is a more feasible andeffective data interactive way. Moreover, And it provided a reference for similar rivers to buildan ecological restoration spatial database.
