Mineral resources are the necessary material conditions which the. development and construction of human society depend on and have played important roles in the promotion. However, large-scale use of mineral resources, bring convenience to mankind, but also the disadvantages must not be ignored. The most typical one is the increasingly serious environmental pollution problems. In addition, underground mineral resources are excavated underground resulting in the formation of voids, causing surface subsidence and mine earthquake, which are serious threat to the safety of mine workers, but also hamper the ongoing work of mine production. Therefore, how to effectively manage, analyze the large amounts of data generated in mine production activities to rational planning of mining, in order to reduce mine production safety accidents without affecting the progress of the premise of reducing, has become a topic of common concern worldwide. In recent years, with the rapid development and wide application of all kinds of digital and information technology, new ideas and methods are bring in the mine produced. The use of computer and digital technology can effectively analysis large amounts of data generated in the production scientifically, quickly discover problems during mining and warn the dangerous timely to avoid risks and improve mine production safety. Meanwhile, the use of computer technology can forecast the conditions which might happen during the production of the mine in the future, thus helping to develop a more rational exploitation plan. In addition, the use of visualization techniques can easily build three-dimensional model of the underground ore and rock body which provide a more visual reference. Mine informatization refers to the construction process of digital mine. The process need to use a wide range of theories and techniques, involving GIS technology, RS technology, computer technology, network technology and three-dimensional modeling techniques. In the end, the comprehensive system hammer at collection, transmission, storage, processing, integration of the data come from mining and transportation. The system achieves dynamic collection and processing of data, which can help to develop the mine plan.Information construction of mine has just started, in a period of rapid development now. While people made many achievements in application and system software, but because of the complexity of the geological conditions, there are still many problems to be solved. These issues are:the majority of mining information systems focus only on spatial factors, tending to use the exploration data of a certain period to build models to study mine reserves, mining schedule and other information; when conventional mining information system is updated with new data, it give up the old model and build a new one with the new data, instead of modifying the old model with new data, which leads to the results that the efficiency of the system construction is reduced and it will be impossible to compare the new data with the history data to find the useful information; now mostly mining information systems are static which couldn’t not update the existing system using the new obtained data, especially when the process of mining should be described; it has become hot that lead spatiotemporal data model in mining information system which have huge future potential for growth. However, many spatiotemporal data model have defects and most are theory models, so much more in-depth studies should be carried through.Mining is an important factor in the production process. During mining, with the mining face or the working face forward, rock, ore, roadways and other geological objects or artificial facilities will be affected and deformation, displacement or change its original attribute information. So we can see the mining has typical spatiotemporal variability. This paper studies the mining process as a starting point, with spatiotemporal data models as the main theoretical and technical tools, decided to build a mine dynamic information management system which can analysis history mini state by time and imitate the mining behavior. The major work I have done as follows:Learning to understand the current technology of mine information and spatiotemporal data model, sum up the problems consisting in current mining information studies, and aimed at the difficult to describe the mine’s spatiotemporal dynamics, analysis the principle, advantages and disadvantages of the current main spatiotemporal data model. Then I declare the goodness and feasibility in describing the dynamics of mine. This paper briefly describes the spatiotemporal data models used basic geometry, the overall conceptual frameworks, models come from the project "spatiotemporal process simulation and real-time GIS system". This paper studied the major change factors in mining, extracted the geological objects influenced in the process include rock object, ore object, tenements range object, gob object, mining surface object, roadway object, and safety information object. These objects constitute the main content of mining regulation and simulation. Also, the events that geological objects need to receive transmit and process should be extracted to structure the transfer process of geological objects and events. These events will link objects together, driving the entire regulatory process for mining. This paper complete spatiotemporal data model for monitoring and management of mining by design geological object classes including member variables and member functions, according to the elements object should contain. Finally, with MongoDB to store data and3D visualization software QuantyView as the platform, this paper achieved two instances:showing mine history state controlled by timeline and dynamic simulation of mining. To some extent, these results verify the correctness of theories and methods in this paper.Innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in:1. Achieve the dynamic regulation of mining using spatiotemporal data model, and complete the framework and handing mechanism for geological objects and events emerged in mining;2. Extract the major geological objects by studying the mining process and give these objects geometry and attribute information and functions to response events, refer to their participation ways in mining.
