Triethylaluminum is a kind of important organic aluminum compounds which are used widly as the catalyst component for not only olefin polymerization, but also for the synthesis of alpha olefin, alpha fatty alcohol and used intermediates, reductant ignition fuel etc. For various kinds of reaction, organic aluminum compounds show their important role more and more. Triethyl aluminum used as the main olefin polymerization catalyst promoter, its chemical compositions, especially the contents of Tri-n-butylaluminium and aluminiumhydride has a significant influence to polyolefin reaction and olefin polymerization.Now the product quality of triethylaluminum made by liaoyang petrochemical company have reached the same level of products abroad, but due to the relatively backward production technology, such as the key equipment are too old to maintain the efficient operation and process control in production and hard to meet product quality. In addition, the raw materials contains a large amount of solid aluminum powder which can not be efficient separated before entering equipments and often blocks pipeline and equipment. At the same time the manufacturers of raw material of aluminum powder are not fixed, each component index also fluctuates. Although triethylaluminium products have reached a higher level, but S-type triethylaluminium production with low content of aluminium hydride is limited, S-type product will not be able to guarantee for each batch in the normal production.In this study, through comparison and analysis of the product quality data befor and after technology innovation to the process and equipments, and analysing the effects of reaction time, reaction pressure and reaction temperature on product quality, the sutable operation ranges are fixed, so realize the control of aluminiumhydride content.By implementing product transformation, ensures the continuous production triethylaluminum with low aluminiumhydride content, expands the scale of products, enhance market competitiveness. By the analysis of raw materials and energy consumption, the total cost of production is not increased dramatically, safe environmental protection has not been influenced, so the technical reformation is successful.
