TVOC concentration is an important indicator of the evaluation of indoor air quality, the high concentration level of TVOC will impact on human health significantly. Study on indoor TVOC distribution and detection technology can provide scientific basis for decision making to control indoor air pollution, and improve the level of human health.Based on a systemic summary of in the indoor TVOC concentration influencing factors and the study status of the TVOC detection technology, adopting a combination of methods of numerical simulation and experimental studies, distribution disciplinarian of indoor TVOC in different environmental conditions and TVOC detection technology were studied. Then control measures to TVOC pollution in the new decorated house were put forward. The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1) The correlation of distribution regularities of indoor TVOC and environmental conditions were discussed by the software of Fluent. By establishing three-dimensional model, distribution regularities of indoor TVOC were simulated in different conditions of ventilation, the difference in indoor and outdoor temperature, indoor temperature and decoration completion time. Results showed that longer confined time can result in a slow increase in indoor TVOC concentrations, extending the check-in time, increasing ventilation velocity、time and difference in temperature of inside and outside can effectively reduce indoor TVOC concentration; in addition, when the room was sealed, TVOC concentration of bottom of the room was higher than the top; when the room was ventilated, TVOC concentration of top of the room was higher than the bottom.(2) The regularities of distribution of indoor TVOC in different influence factors were discussed by the optimized gas chromatography detection technology which the sampling technology and thermal desorption parameters were improved. The optimal conditions of thermal desorption parameters were gas feed rate of40mL/min, thermal desorption temperature of280℃, period of sampling of120s, and period of desorption of30s which can meet actual demand of TVOC detection. Results showed that Fluent simulation results can consistent with actual test data, compared with the actual test method, the numerical simulation method was more convenient, and can save a lot of manpower, material resources and time, in the same initial conditions, experiment error was under allowed range between simulation and experimental results.(3) To analysis of the importance degree of various factors of TVOC concentrations, fluent software and orthogonal test were used in this article. Results showed that sequence degree of different environmental factors of TVOC concentrations was ventilation mode>room temperature>ventilation time>ventilation velocity. In order to make TVOC concentrations reached the lowest value, the best solution was to open windows and close doors, and combined10min of ventilation time, keeping27℃of indoor temperature and0.15m/s of ventilation velocity.(4) In order to reduce indoor TVOC concentrations, according to correlation of distribution regularities of indoor TVOC and environmental conditions, based on the literature of TVOC pollution, prevention and management measures were analysed, including a scientific and rational interior decoration, indoor air purification, managed by natural conditions, scientific and reasonable layout of the furniture and suggestions on the management level. These measures can provide references for creating a healthy, safe, comfortable newly decorated indoor environment.
