Research And Application On The Test For TVOC Indoor By GC-MS

This research is based on the test for TVOC indoor.The appandix G of GB50325 specified the method for TVOC tested by gas chromatography.This research is based on the dedect that the testing time is very long and it could not distinguish the hazardous substances.We optimized the thermal desorption condition and the GC condition through the test which is based on different thermal desorption time and the orthogonal test for column temperature program.Through the test we found that the best thermal desorption time is 30 s and the best column temperature program is that the initial temp is 70?,initial temp hold time is 0min,temp rate is 5? per minite and the final temp is 230?.Under the optimized method we can cut the analying time by half.It is more efficiency than the old one.We also use MS to check the structure of the hazardous substances.The result can be used on the evaluation and preventage of the harm.MS detector is more accurate,more sensitive than any other detectors on gas chromatography.We can use it to test even under ppb level and we caculate the standard curve of all the TVOC component.The recovery test data is between 95 and 105 percent and the repeatblilty data is below the 1.5 percent.At last we sampled a residential building and through the test we made a evaluation and preventage report to them.This research is very valuable to be used.
