Abstract:The urban soil directly affect the dense urban population, involving the health and safety of the lives of many people, and can directly or indirectly affect the environmental quality of the city through the atmosphere. So, the study of urban soil pollution has gradually attracted people’s attention, especially the typical industrial and enterprises area. This paper takes an industrial developed city as a case study, analyses the spatial distribution of heavy metals, and makes the corresponding pollution evaluation. We mainly make the statistical analysis for the eight kinds of soil heavy metals As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb and Zn. In order to make pollution evaluations for the eight kinds of soil heavy metals and explore its causes, this article mainly considers the questions from the following aspects:1. We draw the space structure figures for eight kinds of heavy metals through data processing and illustrate the pollution impact to surrounding environment through the graphics.2. We calculate the experimental variation function combining to the original sampling data and make the structure analysis through the theoretical variation function graph which is simulated by software simulation for the analysis:MATLAB and Excel.3. Analyze certain interaction that may exist between elements, and make qualitative analysis for some usual problems with the aid of daily life and experience, such as the height of a person growing with age, but maybe there exist no certain function relation between them. In order to grasp its characteristic, quantitative analysis must be carried on. This paper analyzes correlation of heavy metals using correlation coefficient theory, and makes quantitative analysis for the relationship between variables.4. The soil heavy metal pollution evaluation widely adopted single factor pollution index method and Nemerow index method. This article will use the two methods on pollution elements for the single factor and multi factor evaluation of pollution status. 5. In data processing, relates to a sample containing eight heavy metal element variable, and the variable has the information overlap, bringing about a lot of complexity to the analysis of the problems, and principle component analysis make it possible to reduce dimension. Therefore this paper will use the method of principal components analysis for statistical analysis. Finally, give some suggestions for the heavy metal pollution.
