Now more and more people pay attention to utilization of dry gas that is viceproduct from refinery. Owning hydrogenation dry gas plants include catalyticcracking, coking, hydrofining, hydrocracking in MPCC. How to utilize properly thedry gas,especial the gas from hydrogenation plant to get the more benefit in MPCC,which is a very hard, pressing duty for personel in MPCC. To slove this problem, thispaper had introducted the plant of the production and processing of dry gas, builtmathematical model for dry gas yield by probability-statistic theoretical method, builtoptimization model for dry gas systems with the cost and price in the market, appliedthe optimization model to the actual production. Some conclusions had been obtainedand showed as below:1.According to probability-statistic theory and the key factors of theprocessing andconsumption of dry gas in MPCC refinery,7mathematical models for dry gas yieldhad been built up. All models had passed the t test, F test, goodness of fit test,Durbin-Watson test and normal distribution of residuals test, which proved themodels were the effective and reliable.2. Slecting the total price of dry gas as objection function and considering dry gasyield mathematical model, we had gotten the dry gas optimization linear program-ming model in MPCC refinery. The models were sloved by Excel. The models couldbe used to optimize the utilization of dry gas in the refinery, and also adjust thestructure to get largest benefit when the price of raw material and product.3. The actual production datas had been input the dry gas optimization model. Theresults showed that the model could be explained well the actual production. On onething it would prove further the dry gas optimization model was reliable, on the otherthing it could introduct the adjustment of production to get the largest benefit.
