The acid wastewater of mine area has not only caused serious pollution to theenvironment, but also wastes lots of mineral resources. The constitution of the acidwastewater in the large mine area is so complex. It’s really a big problem for themining and metallurgy industry to solve.Now most of the methods in prcessing theaicd wastewater without considering of recovering the precious heavy metal in it.Thisresearch about the technology of Chemical Sulfide can recover most of the lowconcentration Cu2+in the acid wastewater. The achievements of this research are asfollow:We conquered the difficulty of metal iron separation mechanism in this socomplex acid wastewater, in the processing of the ferric removal system, when pHcontrolled at3.5point, the ferric and aluminum can not formed the sediments withOH-at the same time. At pH3.5, the reaction rate of ferric was higher than90%, butthe rate of aluminum was lower than5%. It can solve the difficulty of Cu2+、Fe3+、Fe2+、Al3+separate in the acid wastewater.It’s revealed the relationship between Chemical Sulfide Reaction and OxidationReduction Potential.When ORP controlled from50to100mv; we can realize theequivalent control in the reaction of Chemical Sulfide. The Cu2+in the effluent wasless than1mg/L, the amount of the ferric participate in the Chemical sulfide reactionwas less than40mg/L, The mass fraction of the Copper in the product is higher than30%.It’s also reduced the operating investmentIt’s also revealed the reaction mechanism of crystallization. Chemical reactionregents mixed with the product, through physical and chemical actions, can improvethe odds of the new product to form crystal coarse particles. The settling velocity ofthe reactants can reach to2.5m/h.The concentration of sludge can reach to40%,which was about34times of no sludge circulation, it’s also reduced the investmentin sludge concentration tank and the filtration of the sludge.We developed the technology of off-gas adsorption device. The mixed gas oftraces hydrogen sulfide with nitrogen can be absorbed by alkaline sodium carbonatesolution,and the alkali solution can overflow back to copper sulfide reaction tank. Theterminal of the device has a filter tank to absorb excess hydrogen sulfide.The results of the research now are effective adopted in dexing copper mine ofJCC Company.It can treat7million tons acid wastewater. Recycle copper more than 800tons/year; we can realize the economic benefit of15million yuan/year.
