In recent years, with the carbon emissions trading being practiced in Westerncountries, the initial pricing of carbon emissions is gradually becoming a focus ofconcern of many scholars. As one of the first national pilot provinces and cities ofcarbon emission trading, Shenzhen is on an orderly way to the carbon emission trading. Therefore, the industrial industries of Shenzhen City are taken as the object of study, and it is expected to provide effective reference for the initial pricing of Shenzhencarbon emissions trading. At the same time, some variables are introduced asexplanatory variables to be used to study the influencing factors of the carbon emissionintensity of Shenzhen industry.Firstly, explain and discuss the externality theory, the property rights theory, andthe theory of emission right, introduce the basic principles of the carbon emissionstrading, take the shadow price as the basis of the pricing of carbon emissions, select thelinear programming method based on the principle of Operational Research as thepricing model of the article. In the Empirical research part, based on the industrialstatistics in Shenzhen from2008to2010, do the descriptive analysis of energyconsumption and carbon dioxide emission of Shenzhen industry, and then calculate theshadow price of carbon emission permits, as the reference to the initial pricing of carbontrading. Compare the price with the empirical outcomes of other research from homeand abroad and analyze their own characteristics. The average shadow price of the overall industry, the light industries, and theheavy industries of Shenzhen form2008to2010are respectively788.31yuan per ton,499.06yuan per ton, and941.99yuan per ton. The shadow price of the overall industryand the heavy industries of Shenzhen form2008to2010both presented the ascendingtrend, while the shadow price of the light industries decreased in2010. The shadowprice of carbon emission permits of26industries included in Shenzhen carbon emissiontrading differentiated greatly, ranging from58.06yuan per ton to21227.44yuan per ton.It is necessary to take different reference standards in account while formulating theinitial price of carbon emission permits, in order to make the initial pricing morereasonable and effective.
