Multi-axis NC technology is mainly used for efficient, precise, automated processingof complex surface.It centralizes computer-controlled, high-performance servo drive andprecision processing technology as the most difficult, the widest range of applications of aCNC machining technology. Multi-axis NC technology increases one or two of therotary axis, based on three axis CNC technology, plurality of moving axis and the rotatingaxis can do linkage,it can realizes arbitrary control of the position of the tool andworkpiece,so it can adjust the direction of the normal to the machining point of the toolaxis relative to the workpiece surface at any moment,and remains the angle of tool axis andworkpiece surface,the actual cutting speed unchanged. In-depth research andpopularization for Multi-axis NC programming and multi-axis NC machining simulationtechnology has great significance for improving our overall level of multi-axis CNCmachining.Based on the direction of this article, as the research object to the SwitzerlandMikronUCP800Duro5-axis Vertical and horizontal conversion axis machining centers,analyzed the key technologies in multi-axis NC programming, set post-processing files ofMikronUCP800Duro by TCL language mainly in theUG Post Builderenvironment. According to the actual size of all moving parts of Mikron-UCP800Duro,the modle was established Using CAD, the simulation model of machinewas created by VERICUT, every axis motion, limit range, kinematic accuracy,therelationship between the axis interpolation were further provided, the multi-axis digitalmodeling of machine tool was completed. From the four aspects of programming error,machine tool error, tool error, machining error, introduced in the multi-axis NC machininghow to deal with these errors and to improve the machining precision.In the end, through the processing experiment of impeller in theMikronUCP800Duro machine, tested that multi-axis NC maching and programming,multi-axis NC machining simulation and error analysis of multi-axis NC maching werecorrect.
