With a large number of coal burning being deteriorated the environment, thedevelopment of clean energy and the adjustment of energy structure is of great urgency. TheCBM development can not also improve the simple structure of energy, but to promoteChina’s coal-dominated energy structure gradually to environmentally sound sustainabledevelopment. Similar to coal mining, the extraction of CBM, the construction of gasgathering pipelines bound to bring disaster of the land surrounding the wells and mines. Inorder to repair the damage, restore the ecological environment, land reclamation has beenvigorously promoted in recent years.In this paper, taking the Hancheng west district of Weibei area on east Ordos BasinCBM exploration project as an example, in accordance with the land use survey, landdamage analysis, environment assessment, land suitability evaluation, the author proposethe reclamation measures. The conclusions are as follows:①The land use in the study areacan be divided into seven in the first level and ten in the second level, of which thewoodland occupies the largest area, followed by farmland and orchards, and the remainingland use types hold a small proportion.②During the CBM development process, the mainpart resulting in damage is the construction preparation period and the construction period.With the construction proceeding, the damage to land become increasingly serious. Exceptfor the digging damaged in the pipeline area, the well field area, the wellsite area, thetemporary construction wellsite area and the road contact area are damaged by occupation.③Using AHP to establish the evaluation of ecological environment in the study area and todetermine the five indexes and the weight of subsystems, which lead to the ecologicalenvironment evaluation model in the study area. Taking the model as determination, weultimately get the ecological environment evaluation chart in the study area.④Accordingto land suitability evaluation results, the suitable reclamation of wellsite area and thetemporary construction wellsite area are the farmland, orchard, woodland and grassland, thesuitable reclamation of the pipeline area are the farmland and grassland, the suitablereclamation of the road contact area are orchard, woodland and grassland. Combining the above results, we take engineering measures with biological and chemical measures ascombination to do the land reclamation. The destroyed land will be reclaimed according tothe original type as much as possible. For those who can’t reclaim to the original type, wereclaim them to grassland. Meanwhile, we should superwise the digging and occupying land.In the view of the region’s natural environment, this study suggests the tending period mustbe more than5years after the vegetation until they completely grow and reach a certain rateof survival or coverage, but should prevent the vandalism.
