Reach On Industrial And Mining Waste Land Reclamation Feasibility Evaluation And Mode In Pucheng County,Shaanxi Province

With the development of economy and society,the pressure brought by resources and environment in China is being increased.As a special type of reserve land resources in China,the reclamation and reutilization of the abandoned industrial and mining land has become a powerful guarantee to alleviate the shortage of land resources.Chinese government has paid great attention to the remediation of the abandoned industrial and mining land,and lots of work has been put forward in the whole country.A large number of abandoned industrial and mining waste lands have been left in Pucheng county after several years’ development and production of the mineral resources,and thus there might be a great potential for their reclamation;however,little work has been carried out on the reclamation of these waste lands.The main research work of this paper was as follows:The constraints and existing problems for the reclamation of the abandoned industrial and mining land were firstly obtained via field investigation and analysis on the natural environment and land use in Pucheng county;and then the reclamation methods were determined by quantitatively analyzing the feasibility of land reclamation using the land suitability and potential evaluation methods;and finally,the goal and model of reclamation for the abandoned industrial and mining land were discussed.The main conclusions of this study were as follows:(1)The adaptability of the reclamation for the abandoned land in Pucheng county was quite high and the land reclamation rate was relatively large.The reclamation direction was determined as arable land and garden.The reclamation project was in line with the overall planning of land using in Pucheng county,and its implementation was conducive to promote the land conservation and intensive use,with a theoretical reasonableness.(2)Based on the perspective of the natural conditions,social and economic conditions of Pucheng county,the social,ecological and economic benefits of the reclamation area were quite well.(3)The goal of reclamation of industrial and mining wasteland is to protect the ecological environment and restore the land use value.Two goals on the reclamation of the abandoned land in Pucheng county were proposed according to the planning for 13 th five year plan in Pucheng county and several relative industry planning,that is,high-standard-farmland and eco-agricultural park.In addition,four reclamation modes were proposed according to the reclamation objectives and the regional characteristics of the reclamation area,that is,basic farmland reclamation mode with high standard,facility vegetable reclamation mode,ecological fruit industry reclamation mode,and modern farming reclamation mode.(4)The reclamation work in Pucheng county was still in the stage of exploration.Lots of work should be conducted from the legal,policy,and economic aspects to provide more support for its reclamation.
