Research Of The Food Culture In Contemporary Hong Kong Films

This paper studies the food culture in contemporary Hong Kong films,Because of realizing the diet culture of Hong Kong acts as an integrationof Chinese and Western food culture, it contains not only the Chinesetraditional culture but also its own characteristics. Even more, Hong Kongfilms occupy a space in the world movie market and have made an indeliblecontribution to the dissemination of traditional culture of China.In this paper, the author takes the symbol of the food culture in thecontemporary Hong Kong films and the aestheticization of everyday lifeas the theory fulcrum. And analyzes the dietary elements in contemporaryHong Kong films through the research on the method of text analysis, andreading the realitic meaning of contemporary diet culture in Hong Kongfilms. The individual characteristics, emotional characteristics, ethiccharacteristic and heritage features four aspects were analyzedrespectively in this article. It analyzes the leisure keeping in goodhealth and the visual rendering of mental adjustment functions of the dietculture in contemporary Hong Kong films. And starting from the affectivecommunication to discuss the emotional expression to use the tip of thetongue as the carrier of emotion, to consider a "family reunion dinner"as the embodiment of the cultural connotation, the dining room table asa communication link. The article reflects the ethical characteristicsof the diet culture in the contemporary Hong Kong movie through theanalysis of the birthday and the wedding ceremony in the film. This articleanalyzes emphatic the inheritance of the traditional culture of Chinashowed by the diet culture in the movie through cooking and martial artsspirit and celestial tales to show characteristics of heritage of the foodculture in Contemporary Hong Kong films.Through analysis the above characteristics. The author rise the dietculture of the contemporary Hong Kong films to people’s spiritual essence.Due to the special politics in Hong Kong, the food culture in the contemporary Hong Kong film is a display of complex images under thecultural fusion for regression and roots.Through the present of the dietculture in each of the classes in their lives, it shows us that the processof watching TV in the real life is not only a process of aesthetic,butalso a process of pursuiting of life meaning, rebuilding spiritual homeand ascending the life levels.
