Fully understanding and use of underground pressure are necessary for several items,such as entry construction and supporting, coal excavation, layout of entries and slopestability of open-pit mines in mining process. It was clear about pressure traits of1501mechanical excavation workingface in Shuanglong Colliery according to KJ103in-situmonitoring combination with theortical analysis and numerical simulation. Generallymechanical structure of roofs, pressure behavior rules, relation between supporting andsurrounding rock, basic parameters of supporting and its adaptability via numerical simulationwere gotten, which is benefits for scientific management in Huangling mining area.It indicated that pace of initial pressure in1501workingface was42.1m with min pace ofperiodical pressure8.9m and max one15.3m, totally average one was12.03m. immediateroof was No.1unstable roof and main roof was No.2one. Crucial layer was third one in strata.Moreover, broke up of crucial layer was fallen into triple zones restricted by O-X, whichwas up, middle and down. Constriction of entry was beyond workingface about30m. besides,roof and floor were closer at11m. As max one was90mm, supporting method in entry wasavailable. With little mining distribution, peak value of abutment pressure was from4to10mand dynamic ratio was1.15~1.40. with all above, working resistance of supporting is42.9MPa, which was necessary to enhance supporting when pressure was coming. Accordingto numerical research, pace of initial and periodical pressure were separately14m and41m,which was satisfied with theatrical analysis and real monitoring.
