Mo116well block is the biggest wholly-equipped oil reservoir with high quality found by Oil Company and it had been determined as the key area for building good production in the year of2011. Because of complexities of the payzone, many complicated problems such as borehole undergauge, formation collapse and sticking would take place during drilling, which would result in issues such as slow drilling speed, long cycle, increased cost and low economic benefits. In order to save the drilling investment and ensure the effectiveness of the exploration, the research tackling the well plan, bit selection, quick drilling technology and the drilling fluid system had been developed.1. The logging materials had been used to predict and analyze the formation pressure system and the well program without technical casing had been optimized and planned according to the forecast data.2. The model appraising the bit with more indexes had been built by establishing the mathematics model of rock mechanics parameters and profile of the rock drillability and forecasting the rock drillability of different zones by utilizing the logging data. The bit selection result had been given by combining the payzone lithology and the used result of bits according to the optimized series of the well plan in this block.3. With the application of the jetting drilling technology with high pressure and the compound drilling with the PDC bit, the quick drilling technology had been developed and optimized to effectively improve the ROP.4. The drilling fluid system had been researched pointing at the complexities of the payzone of this block. Through the selection and experiment of the drilling fluid formula, the potassium-calcium based organic salt drilling fluid and the strong inhibitive drilling fluid with amine had been selected to be used. The in-lab experiments and in-situ application showed that these two kinds of drilling fluid could better matched with the drilling fluid and other auxiliary agents and had better inhibition performance to prevent collapse and rheological property to effectively solve the problems appeared in this block such as sticking by undergauge, collapse, increased consistency and the increased filtration, raise the successful rate of electrical test and well cementing in one time and to have good protection result to oil and gas reservoir.By mutually fitting and supporting in all above links, problems such as well collapse, undergauge, reaming and sticking had been prevented better; the ROP had been increased; the drilling cycle had been obviously shortened; there was no complexity for accident; the economic benefit of the wholly exploration of oil field had been increased; and a set of matched drilling technology with stronger practicability and reliability had been formed, which was suitable for exploration and development of Mo116well block.
