Nowadays, the veterinary industry grows fast in China, which callused the more andmore serious wastewater pollution problem year by year. As environmental awarenessincreased year by year, the sewage generated in the production of veterinary drugsharmless treatment become an important direction in the Environmental Sciences.Tiamulin is one of the world’s top ten veterinary antibiotics, production wastewater, theproduction process causes2-Diethylaminoethyl mercaptide and methyl acid, which aretoxic and with bad smell, are a big threat to the environment. This thesis is focused onthe pre-treatment of the two pollutants, try to find the right treatment program topreprocess, to help follow-up and further biological treatment.First,2-Diethylaminoethyl mercaptide as excess un-reacted feedstock, having avalue of recycling. So this thesis studies using an organic solvent extraction to recover2-Diethylaminoethyl mercaptide from wastewater, then distillation the extraction solventunder reduced pressure to obtain highly purified2-Diethylaminoethyl mercaptide. Theresults showed that under the conditions of PH greater than10, using chloroform ordichloromethane can have a good extraction results, recovery rate of2-Diethylaminoethyl mercaptide can reach to more than85%, the recovery rate ofextraction solvent can reach to90%, which achieves good results and has very goodeconomic benefits.Secondly, as per p-Toluene sulfonic acid (p-TSA) from the wastewater, this thesisstudies combined degradation of Photo-catalytic-ozone detection of p-TSA. Theexperiments showed that, the Photo-catalytic-ozone detection has a very good treatmenteffect, and there are obvious synergies. The study also found that ozone oxidation has thebest efficiency in alkaline environment, also, increasing ozone inputs causes the increaseof the degradation process. What’s more, this thesis studies the affection of existence ofsome Inorganic salt ions to the degradation process. In the experiment, we settle PH of10.0, the ozone flow rate of3g/h, the reaction for2.5hours, the COD degradation rateof the solution can reach to89.7%, the degradation rate of p-TSA can reach to97.5%. At the same time, the this thesis also preliminary studies the reaction mechanism of p-TSAunder photo-catalysis of ozone and the intermediate products of the degradation reaction.
