The Contrast Analysis Of Carbon Emission Reduction Among China、European Union And United States

In recent years, China has achieved rapid development in economy, at the same time, the environmental problems are becoming prominent increasingly. Among these, the big amount of greenhouse gas s emissions has caused climate warming and much more attentions by other countries all over the world. With the promulgation of united nation s framework convention on climate change and Kyoto Protocol, they have proposed the reduction targets of greenhouse gas to most countries in the world in the next few years, and the greenhouse gass emissions, it mainly refers to the carbon reduction emissions. Especially in some developed countries, such as the European Union countries, its economical level has raised largely and discharged a great deal of greenhouse gas, should be responsible for it. Though America has pulled out of the Kyoto protocol later, but during the work of greenhouse gas emission reduction, the policies of European Union countries and America will affect the rest of the world, and their advanced technologies are also worth learning by other countries.This paper introduced the environmental problems caused by large amount of greenhouse gas emissions, analysed the situation of greenhouse gas reduction emissions both in China and other countries, according to the world’s major developed countries and the actual situation of our country, such as European Union countries and America, made use of a lot of real datas and the method of kaya identities, grey forecasting model and C++, reflected the emissions of carbon dioxide, predicted the amount of greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon intensity of our country by2020so as to analyse whether the established targets could be finished. This paper finally explained the root cause of the greenhouse gas emission reduction policy in European Union countries and America:(1) Because the vast majority of member states of EU lacked resources and they all need to be imported, and the prices are very high, because of these, EU has to pay more attention to the development and use of clean energy, so EU has always been active in the work of the global carbon emissions and been ahead of the rest of the world.(2) America is rich in resources, the development of economy relies mainly on the use of energy, carbon emissions cuts will certainly affect the development of America. America pulled out of the Kyoto protocol because of this. Though America performed negatively, America has made significant results during the work in carbon reduction technology research, development and policies, and Americans pay more attention to carbon reduction. These all have laid a good foundation for its decision in the future.In the view of the conclusions above, combined with the international emission reduction situations, this paper has put forward to the strategies for the next few years in China:(1) The predicted results have showed that our country can successfully achieve emission reduction targets by2020, the European Union and other countries have adopted a series of interfering measures to China in recent years, but these will not affect the economic development of our country.(2) Now we should always adhere to the results that the big amount emissions of greenhouse gas is largely coming from the early industrialization in the developed countries, the cardinal number is so large that they should bear greater responsibility. We can win initiative position in the future.
