Application And Reasearch Of Accompaniments Of Sericite And Andalusite Filled In CPE/POE

Accompaniments of sericite and andalusite is an new inorganic filler developed by acompany in HaiNan. Performances of rubber filled with Accompaniments of Sericite andAndalusite are good, including processing properties, physical properties and so on. Itsapplication prospects is very broaden.The paper studied the properties of CPE/POE filled with different fillers includedaccompaniments. The characteristics of accompaniments were found. The result showed itcan shorten Tc90of rubber and enhance mechanical properties of vulcanizate after added inCPE/POE. The tensile strength of vulcanizate is16.38MPa, reaching the level of silica andcarbonate. Accompaniments also possessed combustion-preventing effects. HRR and SPR ofvulcanizate filled with it were the smallest. However, its anti-thermal oxidative ageingproperty and Thermal degradation resistance were a little poor.The effects of mount of accompaniments on properties of CPE/POE were investigated.With the increasement of mount of accompaniments, Tc10and Tc90were increasing.Physical properties first increased and then decreased. Fire retarding effects were reinforced.Other properties decreased. Synthetical Performances were the best when70phr fillers wereincorporated into CPE/POE. After70phr added, Tc10, Tc90, tensile strength, tear strength,volume resistivity and surface resistivity were2.18min,13.41min,16.91MPa,35.60kN·m^-1,2.74×1010Ω·cm and5.35×1010Ω respectively.In order to improve compatibility of accompaniments and CPE/POE, some modificationagents such as Si69, KH550, KH560, KH570and SDS were selected to modifyaccompaniments. The experimental results proved that performance improved bymodification agents of composite is different.Si69can enhance the heat resistance. Afterusing it, tensile strength retention rate after ageing can be increased from33%to68%.KH570can reduce the filler networking and Payne effect. KH570can also improve themechanical properties of the vulcanizate. Tensile strength was up to17.50MPa. So, themodification effect of KH570is the best.Finally,this paper also researched the applications of accompaniments of sericite andandalusite in wire and cable. Mechanical properties of rubber filled with accompaniments instead of carbon black remained unchanged essentially, electrical resistivity were increasingslightly. Tensile strength was10.42MPa. Tear strength is30.32kN·m^-1. The performancessatisfied the requirements of the factory and the national standards.
