| Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone, cored on Poyang Lake and supportedby the Poyang Lake city circle, is a special economic zone with its important strategicconcept of protecting the ecology and developing its economy. It is an importantcommodity grain base in China as well as an important economic development zonein Jiangxi Province. In recent years, though a great progress has been achieved in theeconomic development of Jiangxi, we are still faced with a series of problems ineconomic structure, resources, and environment, etc, which restricts the sustainabledevelopment of Poyang Lake eco-economic zone. The establish of the database ofecological environment of Poyang Lake Eco-Economic Zone and dynamic evaluationof the quality of the ecological environment are of great theoretical and practicalguiding significance to accelerate the restoration and improvement of the ecologicalenvironment in the area, promote regional development and construction, achieve thecoordinated development of resource development and environmental protection.Besides, it plays an important role to ensure the safety of China’s Eco-EnvironmentSecurity.Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone was used as the study area in this paper. Firstly,the ecological landscape pattern of research area was analyzed by the RS data; thenmake use of basic geographic data, meteorological data to analyzed the key factors ofecological environment quality(biological abundance, vegetation coverage, thedensity of the water network, the degree of soil erosion, net primary productivity,etc.)which according to "Technical Criterion for Eco-Environmental Status Evaluation(Trial)". Combine the method of RS&GIS to build an estimate model of ecologicalenvironment which based on the raster data. Last, use the method of spatial overlayanalysis to obtain the ecological environment quantitative evaluation of Poyang LakeEco-Economic Zone,2000-2010.This research have draw several conclusions as following:(1)From the year2000to2010the ecological landscape pattern has an significantchange under the influence of natural factors and human activities. It’s mainly reflecton: the decrease in woodland and arable land, urban construction land area increased markedly; differences in the ratios of the various landscape patterns were narrowing.Landscape heterogeneity and evenness increased. Landscape fragmentation increasedand the degree of landscape aggregation become smaller,with the Patch number andpatch density increased, which also indicates the dynamic trends of landscape types ofPoyang Lake Eco-Economic Zone, it has a great relationship to socio-economicdevelopment level of Poyang Lake Eco-Economic Zone.(2)In the period2000-2010, biological abundance has became worse and worse,the excellent area of biological abundance mainly distribute on hilly land; a goodvegetation coverage reach0.4-0.5above the50%of the gross area; lowcoverage(0.2-0.3) had increased, the proportion of high coverage(>0.5) has decreased;the soil erosion level mainly is micro erosion, which can reach to80%, but with theenhance of level of land exploitation and utilization, the area of light erosion andmoderate erosion is expanded. NPP on a declining trend, a large area of forestdistribute on eastern for its excellent hydrothermal conditions, NPP was higher thanothers area obviously.(3)Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone own a good ecological environment,21%national territorial region as the level one,60%belong to level two,17%belong tolevel three, and almost no region of inferior quality.The level one region of ecologicalenvironment distribute on north, southeast, then on the south, the lowest part inmiddle; The proportion of region belong to level one and level two had decreased,level three region had increasd, therefore, the quality of ecological environment ofPoyang Lake Eco-economic Zone showed a declining tendency.(4) Base on the ecological environment quantitative evaluation of pixel-level,overlay the counties’ boundary, results shows that: total index of ecologicalenvironment quality of counties around Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone werebetween65to80, belong to level two;22counties belong to level one in2000-2010,the most value were De’an county and Le ping county for their high vegetationcoverage and rich in biological abundance; Others counties’ quality belong to leveltwo, Jiujiang city and Nanchang city were the worst quality region for cultivated andforest land decreased and area of structure increased, which decrease the vegetationcoverage and biological abundance, reduce the NPP and increase soil erosion. Thetotal index of environment conditions of Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone hadshowed declining tendency, quality of ecological environment downgraded to goodfrom excellence. |
