With the development of comprehensive nationalstrength, the demand for the quantity and quality of steel isgrowing.In the process of continuous casting,the mold oscillatorequipment play an important role in improving the quality ofcasting blank and preventing steel break.The working situation ofmodule oscillator equipment greatly impact the continuouscasting.The main fault always occur on the eccentric shaft,so itis significant to study the eccentric shaft.Base on the working condition and main fault of eccentric shaft,thestudy object is mold oscillator equipment which is used in theAnshan Iron&Steel.In order to watch it carefully and get thedispacement curve, the parts of vibration device are built withthe Pro/ENGINEER software, next the fitted them together. Afterfitting the parts, movement simulation of the vibration device aremade to get the displacement curve in the vertical withPro/Mechanism,and figure out the acceleration curve.Base on theacceleration curve,figure out the inertia force,and next dividethe eccentric shaft into8parts.According to the relation betweentime and force and load distribution of journal, make the transientanalysis on eccentric shaft, and find out the node with thegreatest force and the minimum the force of this node. Themagnitude of load is stored in ANSYS, and make the fatigue analysisby fatigue module. At least estimate the fatigue life.The fatiguelife is contribute to change the eccentric shaft,and reduce rateof the accident.At last, bearings are regarded as rigidconstraints and elastic constraints which is replace by springs.Asthe bearing regard as the elastic,the stiffness of the spring is the stiffness of bearing in the radial.The stiffness,wedefined,is different,because the stiffness is uncertain.Inaddition,in order to simulate the bearing accurately,make acomparison between different number of springs.The model analysisof eccentric shaft to get frequencies and mode shapes. Eccentricshaft has the great deformation as the it works in criticalspeed,compare with the actual situation and confirm it whethersafe.
