Dan River as one of most important river of jin-cheng holds the balance role in economy and society development. Aim at the severe water pollution problem, research on systemic and quantitative pollution controlling and planning must be carry through, which could supply technical advise on water quality managing in jin-cheng. The study results possess a general significance theoretically and practically.The thesis is researching on the part of Dan-river that flow through jin-cheng, by make analyzing in pollution source, ascertain the mostly pollution source of Dan-river; Base on a long time serial locale inspect, assessment and analyses, ascertain the space-time variation tendency of primary contamination and water quality; though river model abstract, model select, parameter estimate, model validate and other process to establish the water quality model of jin-cheng reach of Dan river. The methodology for research was set up in the procedure of nature system analysis, river water quality analysis and evaluation, river water quality model establishment.The main study results are as follows:(1)Base on the sorted investigation on pollution source, estimation and statistic in contamination discharge, using the pollution loading method to analyzed and ascertained the main pollution source of the main section in jin-cheng reach of Dan river are Shanxi Lanhua coal and chemical industry limited liability company, Shanxi Lanhua group Beiyan colliery limited company, Jincheng Lanyan coal share limited company Fenghuangshan colliery, Shanxi Jincheng Wangtaipu colliery limited company and Jincheng smoke-free colliery limited company Tianxi coal-to-oil branch company. The pollution load radio from these five forms amount to50.03%,was more than half of all pollution loading radio.(2)Base on the data of water quality monitoring, using single pollution index and integrate pollution index to make present water quality analysis and evaluation, it was ascertained that the main pollutes and controlled factor are BOD5, NH3-N and Total N. Combine with the history data to make space-time analysis to water quality time-series variety and monitoring cross-section water quality variation, ascertain the space-time variation tendency.(3)Base on the data of a long period regularly monitoring on the main section in jin-cheng reach of Dan River, the system engineering method was used to abstract the jin-cheng reach of Dan River and build the water quality model with the BOD and NH3-N effects on DO. With historical hydrology data and monitoring data, the models and model parameters were validated and proved to be suitable to simulate water quality on jin-reach of Dan River, so the model is general significance theoretically and practically, also provide a perfect method for water quality simulate.
