| High density sedimentation tank (Densadeg) is a rapid precipitation technique, although it just started to be studied and used, and the research of process mechanism and design of this type sedimentation tank is still in the initial stage. because of the high density sedimentation tank just need smaller occupation area, lower construction investment, more strong ability to impact load, wide applicability, high efficiency etc, there will be a widespread application prospect in the water treatment, wastewater treatment, and the treatment of industrial wastewater. Because of this, the study of high density sedimentation tank is meaningful. In this paper, after reading a large number of related literature, I use FLUENT software to carry on the flow simulation of the precipitation area, with using the high density sedimentation tank in Huangyan yuan qiao sewage treatment project as the base model. The simulation obtained the corresponding velocity field and concentration field. At the same time, I change the model condition such as different particle densities, different height of water inlets and different height of the retaining walls to simulate the high density sedimentation tank, and then obtained that the Higher particle density, the better the effect of precipitation precipitation area and the higher the efficiency according to the analysis of simulation results. Because the reaction pool setting before sedimentation tank, the inlet velocity is different while water inlet is at different height, the higher inlet height, the lower inlet velocity. the simulation results show, when the height of water inlet is2.5m, namely into the water velocity is0.020m/s, all the sedimentation area is the best, the precipitation effect is better. And additional different heights of the retaining wall, making the flow the backwater radius of the corresponding increased, the sewage hydraulic retention time in the settling zone increased, and alum precipitate drop time increased, which greatly improves the efficiency of sedimentation tanks precipitation. |
