The Biodiversity Conservation Planning Of Rugao In Jiangsu Province

Biodiversity is a reservoir of life resources about the survival and development of human beings. In the days facing a serious of global ecological and environmental problems, protection and sustainable use of biodiversity is the task of all the human beings. Biodiversity protection is to protect all creatures on the earth and the human living environment. They are important measures to achieve sustainable development strategy, dealing with the resources protection and economic development relations, promoting harmonious development between human and nature, and realizing the forest ecological, economic and social benefits of unification. Urban ecological environment construction and the biological diversity protection have already got more and more attention of people. The safeguard of biodiversity in order to promoting harmonious development of human and nature has become the important task of cities in China.This passage takes the city of RuGao as an example. It researches through biological investigation and the urban biodiversity protection planning. We researched on the basis of the understanding of the concept about biological diversity to relizing urban planning of biological diversity protection status. We taked the advanced theory of biological diversity protection planning and method for the related theoretical basis. At the same time, we taked the biodiversity protection policy system in our country for policy legal basis. We dissgussed the reasonable pattern of biological diversity protection about urban planning through the solutions of biodiversity protection planning on the existing problems of RuGao. The main results are as follows:(1) Through the research on urban biodiversity protection planning policies and regulations and the domestic and foreign relevant theory, we sums up our country’s present problem of urban biodiversity protection. And we expound the urban biodiversity protection plan and the importance of the main contents.(2) The plant resources survey are summarized and analyzed. The statistics of plant are statused. Then we analyzed on to a natural distribution plant and cultivated plants area. And we in combination with the existing animal resource material. Then we summarized the present situation of the ecological system. Finally we draw Rugao’s urban biodiversity characteristics.(3) Combined with RuGao’s urban biodiversity status, we put forward rational Suggestions from urban biodiversity monitoring and management system, the construction of the plant species diversity protection, bird species diversity protection, fish species diversity protection and others of biological diversity protection of Rugao.(4) Through the analysis of the domestic and foreign relevant theoretical research,with China’s current problems of urban biodiversity protection planning, we put forward protective measures from the plant, animal and genetic diversity to our urban biodiversity protection planning.
