In recent years, with the automotive, aerospace, machinery and electronics, defense, marine and other areas of rapid development, including spare parts from the sheet metal forming composition of the framework as one of the major structural parts, plate bending molding material rebound in the forecast, measurement, control and compensation study in an active exploration of them. If in the design of the mold before the material accurately grasp the plate bending process of law and the rebound resilience of the size of the mold structure for the determination of device parameters used in the production and validation of the actual size of the production process control and bending decrease in sheet metal bending resilience of important guiding significance.In this paper, by theoretical analysis and engineering practice, a combination of methods to thick U-shaped pieces of material for the study of plate bending process of metal stamping and springback mechanism has been studied; more detailed analysis of the plate material during bending the relevant factors affecting the amount of springback; sheet with finite element simulation software to analyze U-shaped bending and springback process to determine the radius size, about the use of arc-shaped punch and the pusher plate to compensate for the U-bend forming springback, and through the car U-bending beam verify the feasibility of practical engineering applications.Study of this topic, will predict the actual production process changes in the size and bending rebound control and reduce the amount of available information.
