Conveyor belt fire is one type of mine fire which may bring great disaster anddamage.Flame-resistant conveyor belt is widely employed by coal mines in ourcountry.Though corresponding measures are taken to prevent conveyor belt fire, onceconveyor belt fire happens and it produces a large amount of toxic and harmful gases,such as HCLã€CO etc.mixed with so many tiny particles, which reduce the visibilityaround the affected area, and then add very much to the difficulty of personnel escapeand relief work, so it is very necessary to simulate the spreading path of conveyor beltfire and figure out an evacuation route.Firstly, the reasons and development law in conveyor belt fire, and the combustioncharacteristics of belt are analyzed in this paper.A study on the stability of mine firesmoke serves as the basis to know the law of mine fire smoke flow and the disorderforms of airflow.With reasonable simplification and hypothesis, the author establisheda mathematics model to calculate the temperature of fire smoke flow according tocombustion theory and thermodynamics as well as law of energy conservation.Takingthe actual situation in Qingjiaying coal mine as an example, with the help of dynamicairflow simulation software MFIRE, the author simulated the airflow of different fires in4nd mouth (9branch) and1nd mouth (10branch) of belt conveyor roadway in miningarea10,2nd level. Based on this result, the author figured out the path of fire spread, andthen put forward an evacuation route and measures for air control in convey belt fire todecrease the influence on facing areas by fire fume. Through the two simulations, theauthor found out the defects of the roadway layout in ventilation network and proposedcorresponding measures, which may serve as the ground of the optimization of mineventilation system and the development of emergency rescue plan. |
