Chinese patent drug is an important part of Chinese medicine, and it hasprovided a guarantee for people’s healthy life in daily life. But at present our countryhave not formed unified and scientific standards about the proprietary Chinesemedicine quality testing and management, thus hindered its internationalized process.The paper tries to establish a new method for the Chinese patent drug quality controlusing spectral imaging method.The biggest characteristic of proprietary Chinese medicine is its components arecomplex, and this is the biggest difference between Chinese medicine to westernmedicine and it is the main cause which makes the quality hard to control. Now thereare many methods about Chinese patent drug quality detection, and they mainly detectone or two components of proprietary Chinese medicine. The fluorescence spectrumimaging method can obtain the fluorescence spectrum curve on molecular structure ofmatter and component content by taking spectra pictures of sample, and analyses thequality of Chinese patent drug on the whole.This paper takes Banlangen Granule and Compound Berberine Tablets as themain detective objects. Banlangen Granule with a single taste traditional Chinesemedicine as the main component are classified to different manufacturers throughcontrasting with standard medicinal material and between each other. And toCompound Berberine Tablets made up of four taste traditional Chinese medicine, itsfluorescence spectrum curve is contributed by berberine hydrochloride mainly. Wediscuss the berberine hydrochloride in Compound Berberine Tablets of differentbrands and manufacturers using semi-quantitative method, and analysis results showthat the content of berberine hydrochloride of Compound Berberine Tablets which isproduced by each manufacturer is different. Therefore, this method can be used forthe quality control of Compound Berberine Tablet production process.In addition, this paper also designed the software of image processing and imageprocessing algorithm optimization for microscopic imaging. And the former can achieve fast positioning of the region of interest in an image,the latter can greatlyshorten the time of image processing and provides the ability to sync to observe theprocess interface.
