The Front-carling Inner Plate is a typical U-shaped pieces. Its change of sectionheight is rapidly which has a high surface quality requirements and a complex shape. Inaddition,it exists local shaping feature. The Front-carling Inner Plate is commonlymanufactured by metal forming. It can be automated production,owing to its heightproduction efficiency and the production with a rather stable quality.Took the Front-carling Inner Plate of a new-style car as the object of the study,theresearch of the drawing、trimming deflashing、spring back calculation and spring backcompensation were done with the finite element software Dynaform. The primarycontents are as follows:①The finite element simulation model of the Front-carling Inner Plate was built.The stamping process was simulated,and the further optimization of its partial3Dmodel was done to prevent its fracture defect.②Taking the blank holder force、die clearance、friction coefficient、the raise of thedrawing velocity as the influential factors,an orthogonal experiment was designed. Theinfluences of the parameters in the thickness and in the springback were analyzed,andfind the best molding effect of the process parameters.③Based on the precise prediction of springback for stamping parts, theLS-DYNA software is used to achieve auto springback compensation to modify the dieshape by iterative algorithm, which makes the parts after forming can satisfy the shaperequirement after springback. This method is of significance to guide the industrypractical production.
