Study On GL And TR Polyether Type Of Crude Oil Demulsifiers

Northern Shaanxi is rich in crude oil reserves, and has a long history of mining.Most of the oilfields have been in the middle-last of development, and various techniquesof enhanced oil recovery are used in order to improve and maintain the yield, whichmakes crude oil demulsification and dehydration more and more difficult. The paper inconnection with the characteristics of produced fluid in Northern Shaanxi oilfield,screened demulsifiers for Northern Shaanxi Oilfield by the study of the conditions ofdemulsifying agent affect on produced fluid, and it will provide technical supports forfurther increase in crude oil production in Northern Shaanxi Oilfield.The paper uses GL as primer, and synthetic initiator-PO-EO diblock, the theinitiator-PO-EO-PO triblock and multiblock type GL40series and GL160seriespolyethers. And using TR as primer and synthetic initiator-EO-PO block, theinitiator-EO-PO-EO tri-block and multi-block type TR20and TR80polyethers.Demulsification and dehydration experiments performances of the demulsifiers havedone for the typical crude oils of Hezhuangping and ZiChang crude oil in NorthernShaanxi Oilfield by bottle tests. The test results show for ZiChang crude oil that GL4020,GL16020, TR2080and TR80280the diblock polyether demulsifiers have the fastestdehydration speed and highest dehydration rate; and GL408060, GL160160160,TR208060, TR80320160triblock polyether demulsifiers have the fastest dehydrationspeed and highest dehydration rate. For Hezhuangping crude oil, GL4020, GL16080,TR2080and TR80240two block polyether demulsifiers have the fastest dehydration speed and highest dehydration rate; GL408040, GL160160320, TR208060andTR80320160triblock polyether demulsifiers have the fastest dehydration speed andhighest dehydration rate;In order to better meet the requirements of demulsification and dehydrationProduction in the oil production station. this paper has done a lot of work on demulsifiercombination. complex and modified laboratory has screened the better demulsifier, thetest results show that for Zichang and Hezhuangping crude oil, complex and modified todemulsifier can improve significantly the demulsifier dehydration effect.The dehydrationratio of combinational demulsifiers is highest when the proportion of TA4812to TEAC is4:1, TA162824to TEAC is2:3, AP44to TEAC is2:3and TA4812to DMA is4:1.
