To solve this problem of the demulsification and dehydration of produced fluid in high water cut oil field, the polyether type of crude oil demulsifier is investigated.The crude oil demulsifier are prepared with preferable demulsifiers of every multi block PO/EO polyethers synthesized with different initiator and epoxide by extending chain and compound. The optimum conditions of preparation for PFA demulsifier are found that initiator/head PO=1/109, PO/EO=2/1, head PO/end PO=1/2; The optimum conditions of preparation for APE demulsifier are found that initiator/head PO=1/59, PO/EO=3/1, head PO/end PO=1/3; The optimum conditions of preparation for SP demulsifier are found that initiator/head PO=1/259, PO/EO=3/1, head PO/end PO=1/3. The demulsification capability of triblocks copolymers is superior to which of the di-block Copolymer. It is found that the HLB, acid value and crosslinking agent have a close relation to the demulsification capability. The demulsifier who has a evenly distributed PO has a stronger hydrophobicity and a lower HLB. The molecular weight of the demulsifier increases significantly by the crosslinking agent, so the demulsification capability obtains a great enhancement.The optimum formula of the demulsifier is obtained by the orthogonal building, which can enhance the demulsification capability. The operational parameters for demulsification capability are investigated. The optimum operational parameters are found that dosage is 100mg/L, temperature is 60℃, time is 90min, pH=4, and the dosage has the greatest influence on the demulsification capability.Finally, the paper investigates the demulsification mechanism. The structure of molecular is determined by the initiator, and the wetting property and the osmotic effect are determined by the molecular chain.
