In recent years, the range of application of Electric Submersible Pump(ESP) is broadened in the oil field, the requirement of ESP is expanding and exporting each year. Comparatively speaking, automatic level of ESP Testing System is low, backward in management, and can’t meet full requirement of modernized production. This paper developed a new type Distributed Control System(DCS), which can meet requirements of different type and flow and can fully utilize equipment resources to reach higher production efficiency as well, moreover it possesses stronger management capacity.On the basis of the study of DCS、 Fieldbus Control System(FCS) and Industrial Ethernet, DCS can combine technology of FCS and Industrial Ethernet and can be applied successfully for ESP Testing System.In view of DCS design thinking, The pipeline system design is founded in detailed calculation, and can meet many types ESP’demands; the control system has all kinds of protect function and makes system stabilized and dependable, two sets of mutual independent ESP Testing System is accomplished; Human Machine Interface(HMI) of Testing System can give explicit directions and tells operator status of machine now and make operation easily; Testing system Software of Windows interface style is very convenient to realize actual time data monitor, data storage, report print, curve print and so on, it is easy to operate and manage.With the system the actual time acquisition can be realized and the performance curves can be plotted automatically. Therefore, the technological process of ESP can be simplified, and the production cost will be reduced.Undergo more than one year’motion, the system expresses very great steadiness and reliability. The work has a certain significance to promote design level of ESP Testing System, efficiency of experiments and automatic level.
