It is well known that supply chains are complex system with dynamic behaviors when the dynamics of emerging consumer demand are increasing and the instability of supply size are persistent. Despite the structure design has been used to control the robustness of supply chain, it is effective to carry on information sharing for improving the flexibility all over the supply chain operation, which has proved to be the high adaptability and strong expansibility method for controlling the supply chain dynamics. Since Internet-of-Things (IoT) has emerged and been applied widely in manufacturing enterprises, it has provided the application basis and conditions for real-time information sharing comprehensively, which resulting in promoting the potential possibility for controlling the dynamics. However, according to the relationship between information sharing and supply chain dynamics, current researches are lake of valuable analyzing and studying the effects of dynamic information and the application solutions with IoT quantitatively. Based on the theory of system dynamics and the supply chain dynamics, this passage has discussed the information flow, the operation process and the performances quantitatively in the view of system modeling. Therefore, it is of great importance both theoretically and practically to study the dynamics of supply chain system and adoption decision making with IoT by return on investment analysis.The main contents could be summarized as follows:(1) Based on the theory of system dynamic and the information sharing strategy of supply chain, it has discussed and analyzed how the necessity of dynamics of information affects supply chain system with IoT, and established the dynamics models, which provided a comprehensive analysis method and simulation mean for research.(2) It studies the dynamic analysis of single-echelon supply chain system. The research object is a manufacturing system, which is made of three processing units, including the assembly station, the packing station and loding station. And there are information delays among supply chain. It main focuses on the relationships between scheme of information interaction and the dynamics of supply chain. For the information changed, the performance and the operational efficiency of supply chain will be affected. By comparing the simulation results as inventory, production, time and the cost-benefits under different schemes of information interaction, it is shown that IoT has the advantage of information management in the enterprise application, and it has provided a feasibility way to evaluate and analyze the economic effect of IoT quantitatively.(3) The dynamics of two-echelon supply chain system is investigated, which consists of one manufacturer and one retailer. Here, the demand of market is not consistent and the strategies of information sharing are various. The contents, means and degree of information sharing have contributed to the dynamics performance of supply chain system totally. Therefore, the paper makes a few models related to the strategy of information sharing and decides to simulate the influent of some important properties of supply chain, such as stability and robustness. The dynamic system model of the supply chain is given, and its time and amplitude of inventory fluctuation, order fill rate and capacity utilization are analyzed respectively. And results show that IoT has advantages in controlling the system dynamics and improving stability and controlling robustness.Finally, the paper is concluded based on the research above.
