Kinesin was originally found in the tissues of the squid, and it has gradually become a hot topic in recent years. As one of the Kinesin family member, KIF1B has been extensively studied by scholars. The loss or reduce expression of KIF1B in lesion tissues, inferred that KIFIB may be a tumor inhibitory factor. But the research on the mechanisms of KIF1B is limited. The research of mammalian meiosis has always been the hot spots in the field of life science. The correct formation of spindle and segregation of chromosomes is a key requirement for meiosis. So it’s essential to study the factors which influence this process. The oocytes and early embryos of mouse as experimental research material in this study, KIFIB subcellular localization by laser scanning confocal techonology. Then we made the determination of mRNA level and protein expression level on KIF1B by Real time PCR and Western Blot, respectively. The influence of KIF1B which has been interferenced by specific Morpholino on mouse oocytes maturation and early embryo development also had been detected. Our results show that KIFIB colocalized with spindle in MII, and the expression of KIF1B has been founded in MII, we also measured mRNA abundance of oocytes maturation and early embryonic development in various periods. After specific Morphollimo injection, we observed the deformation of spindle and the excessive aggregation of chromosomes or none of aggregation, it explains that KIF1B has an influence on mouse oocytes maturation and early embryos development.
