The study area lakes-Lake Alice Lake and Manasi in central Xinjiang, an important areaof two lakes in Xinjiang, and various changes in Lake upstream rivers can produce afar-reaching impact on the lake area. Especially in recent years, with the development ofsociety, economy, science and technology, human transformation of the natural ability toconquer increasingly strengthened, especially in the socio-economic development of thewestern arid region of urgent, people are eager to transform the natural environment to reapeconomic benefits. While exploitation of resources, the quick success of attitude led to manyinappropriate hydraulic engineering had a negative impact on the natural environment,leading to a sharp deterioration of the ecological environment, and in recent years, peoplegradually realized that the current economic development consequences caused by theprevious improper human behavior, and began to take measures to improve the naturalenvironment. By studying the Alice Lake and Manasi Lake area change processes and factors,which embodies the people’s attitude to the environment from the conquest of nature toimprove the natural environment, mainly based changes. Based on the extensive collection ofreading at home and abroad lake evolution literature, based on careful study of the theory ofevolution on the lake, do the following research:(1)Select1976MSS,1989TM,1999ETM,2002TM,2009TM,2011TM six years ofremote sensing image data in ENVI and Arcgis platform area for the past40years the processof change and Alice Lake and Manasi Lake to make analysis. Data show that nearly40yearsthe process of change in the area of Alice Lake and Manasi Lake and each can be divided intotwo phases, two phases of the year and roughly the same, but the phase characteristics arevery different. The first phase of both substantially atrophy dry up trend, but the second phaseEric Lake gradually restored, while Manasi Lake area is unstable.(2)Baiyang river and Manasi river of hydrological analysis, through the statistics ofprecipitation and runoff, annual variation and annual distribution of data shows that annualprecipitation and runoff tendency are basically the same, however, compared with thetendency in Alice Lake area, Manasi Lake has not entirely consistent, indicating that changesin lakes rivers upstream natural factors are not the main cause of changes in the lake area.(3) Factors of lake changes were analyzed, combined with the literature analysis of Lake upstream river water conservancy project on Alice Lake and Manasi Lake area ofinfluence. the results show that construction of the upper reaches of the river a large-scalereservoir, construction of irrigation water diversion project, and the artificial regulation ofwater are the main factors that cause the variation of Lake area.Through the above research, the paper with the Alice Lake and Manasi Lake area changesmade analysis, the major trends and reveals the human factor is the main factor affecting thelake changes for the future development and ecological research area protection provides thenecessary foundation and scientific basis. Continue to explore the impact of natural factorsand the development of the lake area to defend specific solutions lakes area degradation,conservation measures and methods of drying is the future needs in-depth study on the issue.
