Alice Lake is the only lake of Karemary, it is also an important wetland of biodiversity. Its ecological environment has a direct impact on the sustainable development of local social and economic. Recent years, Alice Lake Basin fragile ecological environment has endangered the ecological security of the region with the frequent human disturbance. In order to restore the ecological environment, achieve the coordinated development of water resources and socio-economic environment, this paper carried out the environmental evolution and trends in Alice Lake as follows:1) Land use change researchUsing satellite remote sensing data, spatial evolution analysis of the Land Use Cover Change was conducted in three aspects:present Land Use structural features, land use changes in spatial and temporal characteristics, land use change transfer matrix.2) Ecological environment evolution researchSelect the appropriate landscape indices to calculate in different scale, then analysize the ecological environment evolution of study area from three aspects:ecological environment degree of fragmentation, eco-environmental diversity, landscape distribution of the ecological environment. The evolution of the ecological environment in the study area was concluded.3) Coupling development research between ecological and economic systemEstablish layered evaluation index system of socio-economic and ecological benefits, and construct the coupling model of the socio-economic and ecological systems. This paper evaluated the coupling development status of ecological and economic system in Alice Lake.Through the above research, this article revealed the evolution and trend of the Alice Lake, and evaluated coupling development of the current ecological and economic.
