| China is one of the most widely distributed area of karst landform in the world,has the complicated and diverse types. As a kind of special landscape resourcesunderground, karst caves has diverse landscape values with non-renewable,irreplaceable and landscape repetitive feathers. Nowadays, more and more karst cavelandscapes have been approved as the national geo-park by Ministry of Land andResources and there are over50parks mainly with karst landform or involving thekarst landform by2012.Fangshan Global Geopark records the unrest and changes in Archean,Proterozoic Era, Paleozoic Era, Mesozoic and Cenozoic and develops the karstlandform of carbonatite surface and karst cave of multiple chemical sedimentationtypes. With rich resources of karst cave, the park is a typical representative of karstlandscape of semi-arid sub-humid temperate zone in north regions.In this paper, first, the karst cave is defined and the large karst caves in Chinaare investigated and classified. Then, with the karst cave resources of FangshanGlobal Geopark as the main research object, the research area and cave resources arestudied and the distribution features, development features, physical features, debris,type and formation mechanism of karst cave in the research area are summarized andanalyzed. Finally, according to different utilization methods of people in life,production and other prospect and combining the current development and utilizationstatus of cave, the karst caves of Fangshan Global Geopark are divided into threecategories: archaeology, geological tourism and entertainment. Meanwhile, the mainfeatures of various karst caves are summarized and the targeted planning suggestionsare proposed, in order to explore the maximized sustainable exploitation andutilization of karst caves resources under the harmonious symbiosis between thehuman and the nature, to achieve the unity of the economic benefits, social benefitsand environmental benefits. |
