This article used pumped storage hydropower station in Fujian Yongtai Baiyun country as research subjects,combined with satellite remote sensing image which was blended by ALSO satellite remote sensing images and the Landsat TM remote sensing image.At the same time, using a combination of methods of field investigation with3S technology, discussesed the vegetation types of evaluation,distribution characteristics、 biomass、species diversity and so on. And on this basis,applied of the principles of landscape ecology to do ecological integrity evaluation.The results showed that there were639species of vascular plants which belong to127families and387generas.The vegetation can be divided into broad-leaved forest, coniferous forest,thickets and irrigation grass,economic fruit trees and farmland vegetation. In addition, the evaluation area also distributed a number of special protected wild plants or ancient and well-known trees. Such as:Fokienia hodginsii, Ormosia henryi, Cinnamomum camphora, Keteleeria for tuner.In the support of3S technology, Integrated application the three kinds of interpretation methods of unsupervised classification, supervised classification and visual interpretation to interpret the evaluation of remote sensing image.Ultimately the evaluation region is divided into9land types:Monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forest, Warm coniferous forest, moso bamboo, the young growth of Pinus elliottii; tea garden; farmland, rural residence; roads and did not use the land, water.In addition, combined with direct harvest method, the model estimation method to determine the total biomass and biomass after losses after engineering construction in the evaluation area,Finally, this paper applied with the principles of landscape ecology to evaluate the ecological integrity of evaluation area from the two aspects of space structure and stability. The results showed that although the construction of pumped-storage power station in Yongtai will cause some damage for the vegetationes, but this kind of influence remains in the range which the ecological system can withstand.
