A Research On The Siting Of Rural Summer Resort Based On GIS And AHP

With the accelerating urbanization and the improvement of people’s income level, busy city people begin to aspire to return to nature.The demand of ecological leisure vacation travel is becoming more and more significant. Under the circumstances of global warming, summer travel is becoming more and more popular.Rural summer travel has the characteristics of pastoral landscape beautiful of rural tourism and shade of summer tourism.It becomes people’s favorite.Rural summer tourism as an important way of increasing farmers’ income, the correct location and appropriate development can not only improve the farmers’ income, and pull the development of country’s social economy.Location is the important foundation of tourism development and construction. The location of the scientific or not directly is related to the healthy development of the rural summer tourism.This study draws on location theory, tourism psychology theory, regional differentiation theory and related theories.Use the methods of GIS and AHP to evaluate and analysis the factors of affecting rural summer resort location. Form the research conclusion as follows.(1)By using the GIS to analysis and evaluate the five geographical factors such as altitude, gradient, slope aspect, degree of land surface and relative path distance,divides it into the most suitable, appropriate and inappropriate three levels:altitude (≥1000m,800～1000m,＜800m),gradient(0°～14°,14°～27°,27°～90°),slope aspect (southern southeast, southwest slope;east,west;north, northwest, northeast),degree of land surface (0～15m,15～30m,≥30m) relative path distance (0～400m,400～800m,≥800m).The weights are altitude(0.33), gradient(0.20), slope aspect(0.22), degree of land surface(0.13) and relative path distance(0.12).It shows that altitude is the most important factor affecting the location of the summer resort.(2)Using the AHP method to establish rural structure model of summer resort location conditions including target layer, index layer and index factors layer.Index layer includes tourism resources and environmental factors(B1), location(B2), market factors(B3), social and economic factors(B4) and policy environment factors (B5).lndex factors layer includes rural natural tourist resources(C1), rural cultural tourism resources(C2), climatic conditions(C3), traffic location(C4), location of tourism(C5), tourist market(C6), travel demand(C7), local economic development level (C8), infrastructure(C9), village reception capacity(C10), community participation attitude(C11), tourism development policy(C12) and government participation attitude (C13).(3)The weights of summer resort site condition index layer are:tourism resources and environmental factors(B1=0.4706), location(B2=0.1806), market factors (B3=0.2152), social and economic factors (B4=0.0826) and policy environment factors (B50.0509).It shows that the tourism resources and the environment factor, market factor occupy very important position in the summer resort location.(4) In the summer resort country location condition index factors layer, weights of the top three, respectively are climate conditions(C3=0.2942), travel demand(C7=0.1793), traffic location(C4=0.1355) and weights ranking after three, respectively are community participation attitude(C11=0.0044), the rural tourism development policy (C12=0.0085), reception capacity (C10=0.0123).(5)The results of this study are applied to rural summer resort location in Nanchuan district of Chongqing.Through GIS method to pick out Xihu village of Lixianghu town, Dashiba village of Fushou country, Longquan village of Shanwangping town, Fangzhu village of Toudu town, Longshan village Jinshan town, Shuiyuan village of Dayou town, Hanchangba village of Muliang country, Yongan village of Nanping town.On this basis, the AHP method is applied to score the eight alternative.The top three, respectively are Fangzhu village of Toudu town(77.3243), Xihu village of Lixianghu town(76.2447), Longshan village Jinshan town(74.8684).They are the most suitable for developing rural summer tourism area in the future in Nanchuan district.
