With the rapid development of remote sensing in China, it become more and more important in China’s national defense construction and national economy and has been an irreplaceable part of the strategic high technology industry. Demands for radiation calibration has become more and more urgent as the application of remote sensing is developed to quantitative from qualitative. In order to better use the remote sensing satellite images, radiation calibration is the primary task. Now site calibration is the main method to get the coefficients for most of the satellites in China which will affect the application of multi-source remote sensing data. Radiometric cross-calibration technique is a stable and effective calibration method which needs lower experiment costs and can calibrate for historical data.A new method system for wide coverage satellites data with middle and higher resolution and marrow coverage satellites data with higher resolution has been proposed in thesis after analysis the characters of these sensors. The main works are listed as follows:1A new method to receive BRDF used Landsat8-OLI data and DEM from ZY-3based on existing method. The precision is higher and more BRDF details will be received with this method.2. The AOD in the study area is inverted used the MODIS data with long time series based on the surface reflectance calculated by the BRDF received from GF1-WFV and HJ-CCD. The calibration coefficients was fitting with the apparent radial brightness inverted though6S model.3. Cross calibration was performed to GF1-PMS, ZY3-MSS based on Landsat8-OLI used the method named Radiation Match. The difference caused by the observation geometry, atmospheric condition and spatial resolution was eliminated by choosing similar data in observation conditions. The difference caused by spectral response was eliminated by calculating the spectral matching factor. The calibration result shows that the method used in this thesis is practicable.
