In this paper, the current domestic monographs and papers published by thefull-text database in CNKI about Brachiopods zoology have been collected, sorted, summary analysis, at the same time, according to the time sequence and researchcharacteristics of phases are summarized. Paper the main achievements andunderstanding are as follows:1. The history stage of research: according to the history process of brachiopodszoology research in our country, the history process of the brachiopods zoology willbe divided into three stages, namely: before liberation is a enlightenment stage ofBrachiopods zoology, Brachiopods zoology fossils of the early founding state is theclassification stage, and since the eighty is the application stage of the fossils data ofthe Brachiopods zoology.2. The characteristics and the symbolic achievements of the each research phase:(1) Before the founding state:is the enlightenment stage of the Brachiopodszoology research in our country. During the stage, there are little people engaged inthe work of Brachiopods zoology studies, rarely the study areas, less researchachievements, mainly the description of place of production and scattered fossil. Themost representative works are "the long body of shellfish in China" and " spirifershellfish in China", coming from Zhao yazheng’s English works, which makessystematacially summary of the data of early Brachiopods zoology fossils.(2) The founding of the early-80s: it is the starting and developing stage of theBrachiopods zoology. Especially with the large scale by1:500000regional surveywork, researchers were gradually increasing, and research institutions of theprofessional team had been established, research scope gradually extended to most ofthe country, meanwhile, the fossil of the Brachiopods zoology had been found in thedifferent times of the Marine strata in our country, which contributed to accumulatelarge data of fossils. This period is mainly about the systimatical classfication ofthe Brachiopods zoology fossils and the discussion of the era significance. There aremany representative works in this period, for example, The Brachiopods zoology fossils in China of Wang yu, Jing yuxuan, and Fang dawei, published in1964,which made full systematical conclusions, summaries and amendments for the fossilsof the Brachiopods zoology. Nowadays, this book is still the best classics and the bestauthoritative in terms of the authentication of the Brachiopods zoology fossils.(3)80s to Today: it is the prosperity and application of the Brachiopods zoologystudies in our country. With the large scale by1:200000regional survey work, muchmore fossils of the Brachiopods zoology had been found. In addition, on one hand,Paleontology workers continued to make traditional studies of the Brachiopodszoology, on another hand, started to the research of The ancient geography, ecostratigraphy and paleoenvironment of the Brachiopods zoology. In this stage, thepaleontology atlas of each areais undoubtedly the most important achievements, published in succession in the late70s to80s, all of these pictures have made muchdescription of the fossils of the Brachiopods zoology.(4) For the current research status brachiopods, and discusses the futuredevelopment trend of research.
