Nowadays, geological mineral resource data (foundational data and spatial data, etc) are mostly stored separately in multifarious formats and mediums respectively. It is difficult to effectively meet the demand for the mineral resource management's information processing of mining company. To explore how to implement the integration storage of foundational and spatial data, to build up geography mineral resource database and its management system, are very important for the mineral resource's moderate development and effective use.The dissertation implements reorganization, classification, abstract, coding, digitization on electronic files, printing files or other forms (audio and video, multimedia and so on) which were formed in the geological minerals work such as the geology, the remote sensing, the geophysics and geochemics exploration. And it makes the conceptual design, logic design and physics design on the foundational database and the spatial database of geology mineral resource. And its focus is on the modeling technology of the geography mineral spatial database and its solution in this system. The author has determined development approach and architecture of "the geological minerals central resources database system frame ". The architecture of this system is divided into four aspects, which are the management decision-making layer, the special application layer, the data resource layer and the vertically divided information source layer.According to the requirements of the system development ideas and the structure construction, the author uses the Oracle9i database management system and the ArcSDE spacial database engine to establish the geology minerals foundational database and spatial database, and uses Visual Basic and the C# visible programming language and the ArcObject controls and ArcGIS Engine controls both from the American ESRI Corporation to develop the geology minerals database system containing 11 modules which are the data class management component, the system jurisdiction establishment component, the system log management component, the template management component for the three dimensional data conversion project, the 3D data conversion component, the inquiry output component, the data input component, the data import component, the data export component, the source table for choice component, the space data management component and so on.
